Wiebe leads LCC to shutout
09/21/2008 12:37Malina Wiebe scored one goal and assisted on another in Lane Community College's 3-0 women's soccer victory over visiting Yamika on Saturday.
Mackenzie Fegles scored first for the Titans (4-2-2, 3-2-2 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges) in the 16th minute off Wiebe's assist. Sabel Maguire had the second goal, her third in the last four games, on a set play in the 58th minute off Jamie Addington's assist.
Wiebe then scored in the 89th minute, with Briana Lagumina assisting. Ali Foster had the shutout with two saves.
