VanOrd’s goals key Lane women’s victory

Danielle VanOrd scored twice to lead Lane past Clackamas 4-1 in an NWAC women’s soccer match Saturday, pulling the Titans within a point of second-place Clackamas in the South Region.

Callie Lambert’s goal at 35:25 off Calysta Susu Mago’s assist for a 2-1 lead put the Titans (5-5-2, 4-3 South Region) up for good, and Lambert assisted on Sydney Holborow’s goal early in the second half to put Lane in control against the Cougars (6-3-1, 4-2-1).
