Titans split baseball pair with Cougars by 5-1 score

Lane Community College split a pair of 5-1 verdicts against visiting Clackamas in a baseball doubleheader on Saturday.

Matt Bellando and three relievers scattered 10 hits, and Kevin Shepherd and John Miles doubled in the Titans’ opening-game victory.

In the second game, Shepherd had his 19-game hitting streak snapped, and Isaiah Ferrer homered in the Cougars’ win.
