Titans get several more qualifiers and season best in the heat at Hayward

EUGENE, OR - With the sun blazing again on day two of the Oregon Relays several Track and Field athletes stepped up to the challenge against 4-year schools.  The Men's 4x100 improved upon their NWAACC leading time running 42.35 and finishing second.  Branden Helms improved upon his time in the 100m running 10.91 to finish third.  Erik Jorgensen (14' 11"-4.55m) improved on his mark in the pole vault as did Zaine Stapleton (14' 5.25"-4.40m), which qualified him for the NWAACC Championships.  Other new qualifiers for the Titans were Chandra Johanningmeier in the 400H (1:06.71) and the Men's 4x400 (3:22.95).  Ian McNaughton improved on his 400 time running 50.03, while Kevin Accinelli improved upon his NWAACC leading mark in the 400H running 55.43.  Several other Titans competed at Hayward, which all the results can be viewed at the link.
