Titan Baseball 2-0 after opening day

McMINNVILLE, OR - Lane Baseball wins a double-header against Linfield on Sunday to start its season.  In game one, Alex Cornwell (pictured) went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and a double to help secure the 3-1 Titan victory over the Wildcats.  Jordan van Engers pitched 3 innings in the win.  In game two, Zach Kayser got his second save of the day and Dawson Phinney got the win.  Alex Cornwell got one hit and a sacrifice fly to help the cause.  The Titans head to Yakima on Saturday, 3/10 for another double-header starting at noon.
