SWOCC no match for Lane women

Sarah Hall had 17 points and 10 rebounds, and three others scored in double figures for Lane Community College in an 87-58 Northwest Athletic Conference women’s basketball victory against visiting Southwestern Oregon Community College Wednesday night at LCC.

Megan Still also scored 16, Rachel Fielder had 13 points and reserve Meagan Briggs scored 10 for the Titans (16-6, 8-2 South Region), who led 28-12 after the first quarter and 45-32 at halftime.

Amber Lease also had 11 assists, seven steals and five points for Lane, which has won five of their last six games.

Madison Bell led the Lakers (5-15, 2-7) with 19 points.
