Stewart scores twice to lead Lane to shutout win

SPOKANE - Kayla Stewart scored two goals to lead Lane Community College to a 4-0 victory over Spokane in an NWAACC women's soccer game on Saturday.

Stewart scored off a feed from Mackenzie Fegles in the 47th minute and then scored unassisted in the 60th minute. Fegles added a goal off a pass from Katlyn Shaw in the 48th minute. Spokane scored an own-goal in the 37th minute of the first half to give Lane a 1-0 halftime lead.

Ali Foster earned the shutout for the Titans (5-2-3), her fifth of the season and third in a row.

On Friday, Lane tied Columbia Basin 0-0 in Pasco, Wash.
