Stewart scores twice as Lane women top Everett
08/30/2008 12:23Kayla Stewart scored twice and had an assist to lead Lane Community College to a 4-0 victory over Everett in a NWAACC women's soccer game on Friday.
Stewart scored in the 20th and 81st minutes for the Titans (1-0) and assisted Katlyn Shaw on a goal in the 24th minute. Malina Wiebe also scored for the Titans , in the 54th minute, off a feed from Shaw.
Jamie Addington assisted Stewart's second goal. Ali Foster earned the shutout for Lane, which plays defending conference champion Walla Walla at home on Thursday.
