Romero caps late rally for Lane men’s soccer

Yuito Okazaki scored unassisted and Daniel Romero netted a penalty kick late in the second half to rally Lane past visiting Pierce, 4-3, in a nonleague men’s soccer match Saturday.

Romero, who scored twice in the game, booted the eventual game-winner for the Titans at 88:58 after Pierce had been called for offside. Christian Guzman scored unassisted at 50:21 to give Pierce a 3-2 lead, but Okazaki scored at 79:55 to even the score.
