Portland uses big run to top Lane

KJ Bosco scored 28 points and keyed an 18-5 run in the second half that led Portland to a 76-67 victory over Lane in an NWAC men’s basketball game on Saturday.

Bosco hit five three-pointers, including one with 5:17 left that gave Portland a 56-55 lead, and also had seven rebounds. Cameron Retherford added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers (18-3, 7-1 Southern Region), and Lane Josi scored 10 points.

Keiron Goodwin led Lane (10-9, 2-5) with 18 points and seven rebounds and Keaton McKay added 14 points. Patrick Goddard scored 11 points.
