Peninsula scores late to upend Titan women

PORT ANGELES, Wash. — Peninsula College scored in the 84th minute to edge Lane Community College 2-1 in an NWAACC women’s soccer match on Sunday.

Each team had an own goal in the first half, Peninsula’s in the 24th minute and the Titans’ in the 36th.

The Titans, who outshot Peninsula 17-4, host Tacoma at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
