Martin, Muha lead LCC

LACEY, Wash. — Michael Martin was second and Andy Muha was third for the Lane Community College men’s cross country team on Saturday at the St. Martin’s Invitational.

Martin finished the 8,000-meter race in 26 minutes, 17.40 seconds, and Muha crossed in 26:55.0, as the Titans finished third overall. Moises Martinez also finished ninth in 27:09.6 for Lane. The men’s winner was Southern Idaho’s Eric Fitzpatrick in 26:14.4.

The Titan women finished 11th in their 5,000-meter race. Lexi Healy was their top finisher in 36th place in 20:28.7.
