Linn-Benton rolls to baseball sweep over Lane

Division-leading Linn-Benton added more distance over second-place Lane in the Northwest Athletic Conference baseball standings with a doubleheader sweep Saturday over the host Titans.

The Roadrunners (42-2, 29-1 NWAC South) posted 12-4 and 6-0 victories over Lane (22-24, 16-14).

Chase Cosner was 4-for-5 at the plate and scored four runs, and Joshua Congdon belted a two-run homer for Linn-Benton in the first game. Logan Zozaya rapped a two-run single for the Titans in the fourth inning. Cole Carder hit a two-run single for the Roadrunners in the second game.
