LCC shuts out Lakers

Danielle VanOrd scored two goals in the second half, and Lane pulled away late to earn a 4-0 victory over Southwestern Oregon in an NWAC Southern Region women’s soccer game.

VanOrd scored on a pass from Autumn Straub in the 73rd minute to give the Titans a 2-0 lead, then added a second goal 8 minutes later off a pass from Amelia Williams to make it 3-0.

Calysta Susu Mago added a goal in the 89th minute for the Titans, and Callie Lambert scored an unassisted goal in the 39th minute. Hanalyn Sypher needed only one save to record the shutout for Lane (2-3-2, 1-2-0 Southern Region).
