Kyle Hoover helped Lane rally from a four-run deficit with a three-run home run, and Matt Myrmo hit a game-tying sacrifice fly to lead Lane Community College to a 5-4 victory over visiting Clackamas in the opener an NWAACC Southern Region baseball doubleheader on Thursday.

The Titans scored the winning run on a bases-loaded walk.

In the second game, Scott Allred and Nick Phillips combined on a five-hit shutout to give the Titans a 1-0 victory. Ran Berger drove in Lane’s lone run with a sacrifice fly that scored Tyler Connor.

The doubleheader sweep broke a tie for second place with the Cougars in the Southern Region and kept Lane (26-14, 17-9) a game behind Chemeketa for the division lead.
