Lane's Healy and Clark's Garvin named 2016 NWAC Baden Cross Country Athletes of the Year

LANE - FRESHMAN

Lexi Healy, Henley HS / Klamath Falls, OR, has been named the Women’s Cross Country Baden Athlete of the Year.

Healy got going early with a 5th place finish at the NWAC Preview meet before catching fire. She claimed first in the Southern Region Championships with her collegiate PR then cruised to a 16 second victory at the NWAC Championships.

SAM GARVIN
CLARK - SOPHOMORE

Sam Garvin, Mountain View HS / Vancouver, WA, has been named the Men’s Cross Country Baden Athlete of the Year.

After collecting All-American honors in 2015 with a 7th place finish at the championship event, Garvin placed first at the NWAC Preview, Southern Region Championship and ended his two year career with a title at the NWAC Championship.
