Lane women’s soccer downs Rouge, 2-0

Danielle VanOrd and Bailey Johnson each scored second-half goals to help lift the Lane women to a 2-0 win over Rogue in a Northwest Athletic Conference soccer match Saturday.

VanOrd scored in the 63rd minute off an assist from Brittany Smith, and Johnson scored in the 69th minute.

The Titans’ defense did not give up a shot on goal during the match. Lane improved to 5-0-1 and 1-0 in NWAC play while the Ospreys fell to 1-3 and 0-1.
