Lane women rally for 2-1 win over Wenatchee

Katlyn Shaw, a freshman forward from Coquille, scored an unassisted goal in the box in the 70th minute to give the Lane Community College women's soccer team a 2-1 victory over Wenatchee Valley College on Friday afternoon at Lane.

Kayla Stewart's goal in the 11th minute, on an assist by Malina Wiebe, tied the score at 1-all for the Titans (3-2-2 overall, 2-2-2 Southern Division). Rosa Vargas tallied Wenatchee Valley's lone goal on an assist from Seliva Longeria at the eighth minute.
