Lane volleyball swept by Chemeketa

SALEM — Slow starts plagued the Lane volleyball team in a 25-21, 25-22, 25-13 defeat at the hands of Chemeketa in a NWAC road match.

Morgan Newton had five kills, six assists and 10 digs to lead the Titans (3-5). Evelyn Montoya added seven kills, and Stacia Panther had five kills and eight digs.

The Storm improved to 7-1 and stand second in the South Region.
