Lane uses balance to march past Clark

Khadija Smith scored 18 points to lead six players in double figures, and Lane pulled away in the third quarter on the way to a 102-46 victory over Clark in an NWAC women’s basketball game on Saturday.

Asha Tullock and Sierra Carrier added 14 points apiece for the Titans (15-6, 7-2 Southern Region), who shot 58 percent from the field and outscored the Penguins (1-18, 1-7) 35-2 in the third period.

Rachel Fielder scored 12 points, Emma Jones scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Sarah Hall also scored 10 points.

Mailia Aguigui led Clark with 21 points.
