The Lane women struck quickly in each half, and kept Rogue’s offense in check, on their way to a 2-0 victory in Northwest Athletic Conference soccer Wednesday.

Crystal Adame gave the host Titans (12-3-2, 10-2-0 NWAC South) a 1-0 lead four minutes into the match off an assist by Ally King, and Erin Riley booted another goal two minutes into the second half with an assist by Maile Sur.

Nora Goodrie needed only one save in earning the shutout in goal while Lane kept the pressure on Rogue goalkeeper Alycea Jones, who finished with 12 saves for the Ospreys (4-8-1, 4-6-1).

It was the fourth straight win for the Titans, who have clinched a playoff berth.
