Lane men’s soccer loses 1-0 to Southwestern Oregon

Joe Monetro scored an unassisted goal midway through the second half and visiting Southwestern Oregon held on for 1-0 win against Lane Community College in a Northwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer game Saturday afternoon.

Montero’s goal in the 65th minute snapped the scoreless tie and was one of eight shots on the day by the Lakers (7-1-1, 5-1-1). The Titans (6-5-1, 3-3-1) had nine shots.
