Lane loses men’s soccer finale

The Lane Community College men’s soccer team ended the regular season with a 2-1 loss at home to Chemeketa on Wednesday in a Northwest Athletic Conference South Region game.

Ian Boozer gave the Titans and 1-0 lead in the ninth minute, scoring an unassisted goal. The Storm added a pair of goals before halftime and then held on for the win, with goalkeeper Julian Hernandez making six saves.

Lane finished 5-9-0 overall and in fifth place in the South Region with a record of 3-7-0.
