Lane baseball sweeps doubleheader vs SWOC

Chris Reed threw a five-hit shutout to lead Lane Community College to a 1-0 win over Southwestern Oregon Community College to complete a doubleheader sweep for the Titans.

Reed struck out six and got the offense he needed in the second inning when Joe Offer tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Matt Myrmo.

Lane won the opener 7-4. Tyler Connor broke a 4-4 tie with a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning.
