Jumpers soar for Lane at Chico meet

"CHICO, Calif. — Brandon Nash cleared a lifetime-best 6 feet, 9 3/4 inches to finish tied for second at the Chico Twilight on Saturday night.  Lane’s David Formolo (pictured) went 15-6 to finish second in the pole vault, and Joey Hart went 23-1 1/2 in the long jump.  Shay Applegate went 18-0 to finish second in the women’s long jump, and Tara Calroton was second in the pole vault with a lifetime best of 11-10."
