Hall leads Titans past Chemeketa

SALEM — Sarah Hall scored 34 points on 13-for-17 shooting from the field, and Lane broke open a close game in the second half on the way to a 98-70 victory over Chemeketa in an NWAC Southern Region women’s basketball game on Saturday.

Hall also had seven rebounds and six blocked shots for the Titans (17-6, 9-2 Southern Region), who won their third consecutive game.

Taeli Carrillo added 24 points for Lane, hitting 8-of-12 three-­pointers. The Titans shot 56 percent from three-point range and 52 percent overall for the game.

Chemeketa led 44-43 at halftime and trailed only 56-53 with 3:36 left in the third period before the Titans ended the period on a 13-2 run that gave them a 69-55 lead entering the fourth quarter.
