Four Titans Earn NWAC All-Conference Team

Vancouver – Lane Women’s Soccer team (13-4-3, 10-1-1) had four players named to the NWAC-all conference All-Star team, announced Tuesday by the conference.

Sophomore defender Crystal Adame (Las Vegas, Nev.) earned her second-straight All-Star honor after anchoring a backline that gave up just 16 goals (1st in the South Region) and earned 13 shutouts on the season. Adame also added 3 goals and 1 assist from her center back position.

Sophomore defender, Jessica Van Domelen (Eugene, Ore.), earned her first career NWAC accolade. A team captain, Van Domelen started and played in every game for Lane this season as either an outside back or center back. Van Domelen led the team to a region-leading 13 shutouts and a region-leading 16 goals against.

Sophomore forward, Emily Hillestad (Eugene, Ore.), also earned her first career NWAC accolade. Hillestad led the team in scoring, earning 15 goals and dishing out 2 assists for 32 points. All 15 of Hillestad’s goals came in South Region play and that total landed her in the Top 10 of all NWAC goal scorers.

Rounding out the Titan’s All-NWAC selections was sophomore midfielder, Jordyn Dion (South Lake Tahoe, Ca.). Dion earned six goals and dished out an NWAC-leading 13 assists for 25 points on the season on the way to earning her first NWAC accolade.

The All-Stars will travel to Tuckwila, Wa. on Sunday, Nov. 13 where they will participate in the All-Star match and be honored at the NWAC Championships.
